Who doesn’t love them some Cheap Cable TV? Raise your hand. I’m guessing you didn’t. I can’t think of a single person I know that would. I spend more time than I care to admit watching cheap cable TV. It’s so fun and distracting that even though I know that I’m losing brain cells there’s nothing like coming home after a long days work, turning on the TV and checking out for a while as I watch my favorite sitcom, movie or sporting event.
I particularly love movies. The drama, the action, the suspense. Give me some salty snacks, a sweet beverage, good movie and maybe some company for an after movie special
and I call that heaven.
There’s really only one thing I don’t like about cheap cable TV. One little thing that really irritates me about the abundance of channels that flood my television screen with one click of a button. Can you guess what it is?
Yes…the bill.
Even though I probably have the cheapest of cheap cable tv. And believe my, I looked. It’s still too expensive for my taste because month after month, it adds up.
I know that you’ll agree with me on this one because really… who in there right mind enjoys getting that dreaded piece of paper neatly folded and stuffed into a crisp envelope. You recognize it from a mile away even though it almost looks just like all the other bills you get because you’ve seen it so many times.
I hate it.
It pains me every time.
I think it’s overpriced.
I would give up anything to not have to pay that monthly bill…
Except TV of course.
But I willingly pay that bill each and every month because I can’t go without having instant entertainment available at my fingertips at anytime that I choose.
But then the unimaginable happened.
I lost my job.
In this economy, it didn’t really surprise me but I was unprepared. I hadn’t saved up much money. I needed to cut costs quickly to stretch every penny while I looked for another job.
I dreaded the thought and couldn’t believe I was even considering it but I was in survival mode and the cable bill was just going to have to go.
I was sad and depressed and moaning to a friend about having lost my beloved cable access when she told me about something that I never heard of before. She said that you could get an alternative to even cheap cable tv and and watch cable tv online free.
She said she had been doing it for months and that she ditched her cable bill a long time ago.
What?
Ditched the cable bill without ditching the live TV?
Tell me more I said.
She said I could get all my favorite channels directly on my computer over the internet and that all I needed was an inexpensive piece of software and an internet connection and I was good to go.
I couldn’t believe it.
I was skeptical but I went straight to her house and she showed me the software and it was just as she described. In fact…
It was better!
I could get all my favorite channels straight on to my computer but not only that, I could watch cable tv online anywhere that I had an internet connection so I wasn’t strapped to my living room anymore.
I didn’t even need a TV or cables and there were no expensive upfront installation costs.
But I haven’t even told you the best part. The best part is that I can get all that for a one time payment of less than $50 with NO MONTHLY BILLS.
It’s worth saying again.
NO MONTHLY BILLS.
I was over the moon. I got it right away and have never looked back.
Now I come home from my new job and fire up the computer to watch my favorite shows. I don’t have to dread that painful monthly bill and I get all the benefits I did before and then some. It’s a no brainer.
